"A stiff apology is a second insult... The injured party does not want to be compensated because he has been wronged; he wants to be healed because he has been hurt."
Maybe I should have seen that earlier....
So, I can see why people think my friends and I are snobs.
And maybe we are a little bit.
But doesn't everyone have their own routine, their own taboos and processes that they don't want to be intruded upon, and don't want an outsider looking down on because they don't understand?
The problem of course is that we automatically assume that they are an invader, looking to putting down, rather than a new comer looking to enjoy.
